Best dinner/show in December?

We have never done a dinner/show while at Disney. I was wondering if someone could recommend the best dinner/show for your money. We are not on the dining plan, so we will have to pay out of pocket. But, I would like to treat my 9 year old son and husband to a fun show at Disney. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I would say most definitely the Hoop Dee Doo!! It is pricey but all the shows at Disney are. I have been super bored with the Luau so I wouldn't suggest it. The food is good at the HDD and the entertainment is great. We go about every 3 years.... not something to do every year but will be awesome for first timers!

I second HDDR - my two boys 15 and 9 at the time thought it was hysterical. We sat up front on the first floor and they made fun of my teenager - He thought it was funny to be made fun of - but it has a lot of boy like humor.

I would say Hoop Dee Doo Review. We go every year we love the entertainment and the food is good.
