About 10 yrs ago we ate in Japan. I can't remember being incredibly impressed - but to be fair we were probably comparing it to our favorite local Japanese steakhouse, and imho, there's no comparison.

So what's the best sit-down restaurant in EPCOT?

We like LeCellier!:rotfl: Rose and Crown or Chefs D' France may also be good options!

Le Cellier in Canada, hands down. Best. Steaks. Ever! Also, the beer cheese soup is good, especially with the pretzel breadsticks. The desserts are to die for - we always have everyone get something different, then pass them around. This restaurant is ALWAYS our first choice.

If you like REAL italian, Tutto Italia is good. The best is the lasagna or stuffed ravioli. I wasn't too impressed with the chicken, but only because they don't mention that it's still on the bone. (I hate having to pick through my food!)

Coral Reef (in the Seas pavilion) is beautiful, but kind of boring unless you request a seat by the aquarium. The Mahi Mahi is the best, and I don't even like fish!

I'm not impressed with Mexico. I was expecting something more taqueria-style, but it's your basic Mexican restaurant that's in every town with more than 50,000 people in it. (Basically, nothing you can't get at home - NOT why I go to Disney!)

Le Chefs de France is the choice if you're going for breakfast (chocolate croissants - YUM!), though Norway has the best coffee. Though, some of Norway's coffee has a little extra "flavor" (read: alcohol) in it.

For an extra treat, try getting ADR's to Rose and Crown at an outside table right before Illuminations starts - you get a great view, you don't have to stand up to watch, and you can eat while the fireworks are going on!

Thank you for joining us today on "Munchies around the World". I'm your host, Amber. Hope you had an enlightning time ^_^

Thanks, all! Have also been to Tutto Italia and did like that. Maybe try Canada this time! You've been helpful...

Another vote for Le Cellier. While the food's not impressive, the atmosphere is. Don't get me wrong, the food is good but we found it to be as good as our neighborhood Chili's restaurant or local steak bar (lots of excellent ones here in Texas).

We love Le Cellier - you have to try the Cheddar Cheese Beer Soup. We also love Biergarten. The kids like listening to the band play, and my husband likes the tall beers.

Best sit-down restaurant in Epcot? For us its Bistro de Paris.

But that might not be the best for you. Please tell us a bit about your party such as number of adults, ages of children, food likes/dislikes, food budget. With that info we may be able to give you suggestions that would be a better "fit".

We liked Bistro de Paris and Rose and Crown. Our son liked Mexico and the steakhouse in Japan. But the place we all love and agree on is the Biergarten b/c it's so much fun. We liked dining with other people, my son danced with me, dh loved the BIG beers, and the selection at the buffet is great (and dh and ds are vegetarians.) We did the most laughing at the Biergarten. I'd especially recommend it if you have young children b/c they can dance away on the dance floor if they get bored while you enjoy your dinner.

We love Le Cellier BUT if you go make sure that you allow plenty of time and you aren't needing to rush off somewhere. Le Cellier is notorious for their wait time for a table due to the fact they have a small eating area.

Hmmm....the best would depend on what you like! My family loves the Biergarten! The food, atmosphere, and entertainment are all top-notch!

Thanks all! I think Le Cellier it is... haven't tried that one yet. We're a fam of 3 (10 yr old DD) not looking for anything too fancy or pricey. I'll post my review later :goodvibes

:wave2: Another vote for Biergarten, however, if i remember correctly, it is a buffet.

:beach: only eight more days!
