Best dinner buffet?

We are huge 1900 Park Fare fans. We do their dinner and their breakfast on every trip!

Boma. I was hesitant to try it because my daughter is such a picky eater, now it's one of my family's favorites.

I am not a fan of dinner buffets anywhere including WDW. I have a hard time enjoying mass produced food in advance, much of it being frozen and heated up prior to being slapped on the tables. Personally my view of buffets are designed for people to eat enormous amounts of food, the "quantity over quality" principle (not everyone though). However, there are two IMHO that stand out and are pretty decent. Those two would be Biergarten and Boma. All others, I will pass on.

Trail's End (dinner) for me. Now a must do every trip.

For a dinner buffet, we thought 1900 PF was terrible. Not a good variety/selection, terrible quality food. Oddly enough, we really enjoyed crystal palace. Also, i'd suggest Trails End.

Can't say enough about Portabello at Downtown Disney. Delicious Italian food. Excellent service. We listened to a great band outside, the walk at night along the water was beautiful.

I find that lots of the dishes served at Boma are 'regular' veggies, but with different names and sometimes seasonings - mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes and regular potatoes mixed, corn pudding, roasted diced potatoes/carrots mixed, cornmeal/grits, roasted chicken, pork, beef, etc., and of course the usual children's offerings. Nothing too exotic about nearly half of them - probably why some people enjoy them. I do enjoy the soups, but even though the food is good, is just not my type for a great dinner.

Was seated next to a family group last night with a teenager (16 ish) near, and in our sight, and she ate a small bowl of mac & cheese, then talked on her phone the rest of time while her family ate - an expensive bowl there! Normally would not have noticed, but like I said, she was right in our face.

DS is picky and more a meat and potatoes kind of guy. He finds plenty to enjoy at Boma.

Boma is the top of our list for dinner.

Trail's end is a great "comfort food" buffet.

The Wave has the best breakfast buffet on property.

Wanted to thank everyone for the responses. When all was said and done, we cancelled our Cape May Dinner Res
and changed it to Ohana, then we cancelled our 1900 Breakfast Res, and changed that to Cape May.
So many choices (love it)!

We went to Boma week before last for the first time and the experience was less than stellar.
The line for the meats was absurdly long and when I timed my wait, it was 20 minutes. When you have three kids less than 5 it makes for an awful long wait before the whole family could all sit together.
I have heard great raves about the food on this forum, but the food was really no different than any other buffet, disney or otherwise. Fish, meat, standard salads, and soups.
