My sister and I are planning our trip for New Years next year and are working with teacher salaries. We will probably be picking one place to have a really nice sit down dinner/late luch at. Anyone have any suggestions? We went in 2006 and ate at the California Grill and thought the view was amazing but the food, not so much. We really loved Brown Derby and are thinking of going back but it would nice to try someplace new perhaps.

I would vote for Flying Fish at the Boardwalk or Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge. I have eaten at both on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. I have had good and bad expereinces at CG, but always good ones at FF and AP.

we'd suggest an early dinner at narcoosees - it's a lovely restaurant, beautiful views, wonderful service - and the food is excellent - have had the scallops, lobster, crabcakes, but the best thing (for me!) is the almond crusted cheesecake for dessert! - that's our choice!

Im all about dessert!! that cheesecake sounds amazing. Maybe we will just skip dinner and go for dessert.

Victoria and Albert's is hands down the BEST dinner that WDW offers...but the price is absolutly rediculous.

V&A excluded, Narcossees is excellent! I must say that I really like California Grill. Another amazing choice is Bistro De Paris, if you want to be in a park.
