Hey all, we always go to 50's PTC for lunch and we love it, but I'd like to try something new. Not too interested in Hollywood & Vine. Any advice would be super helpful! Thanks!!

We love Sci Fi Diner for lunch..cool place and good food..a nice break in the day too.

We love Brown Derby for lunch. For lunch at Brown Derby, two of our boys ordered kids' meals, our oldest ordered an appetizer as his entree and my husband and I ordered appetizers and shared the cobb salad. If you are not on the dining plan (meaning you would need 2 TS credits) this is a great option for lunch. But I'm biased - it's my favorite restaurant at WDW.

We've also been to Mama Melrose, 50's and Sci-Fi. I won't go into detail about 50's, since OP is looking for something new, but we loved the food and it was really fun.

Sci-Fi is OK. Our boys loved it the first time, and the burgers/shakes were good. Since then, we've thought it was fine and we'll go again next trip. So it's not off the list, but not a priority. If you have never been there, it's a fun lunch.

We enjoyed Mama Melrose for dinner, but have not really considered it for lunch because it's pretty heavy Italian - but you could probably do the same as we do at Brown Derby - order flatbreads, etc.

We always go to the Brown Derby for lunch. Last time my husband and I had a wonderful salad and crab cake appetizer. Not too heavy for lunch time, but SO good. The kids love the brown derby too, esp. the amazing warm rolls!

I'm trying to find a good place too for my Jan trip with DD. Sci-Fi looks fun but I can't find anything on the menu that just sounds delicious to me :( So I'm thinking maybe 50's since many of you say it's good. Thinking late lunch.

I really do love 50's, I'm just stuck in a restaurant rut! I know what I like and I always go to the same places. We usually do a late lunch at 50's too, around 3 or 4. Always works out perfectly. You should definitely check it out!

I think the Backstage Lot has a buffet we attended once and it was very good. The characters were there too. My dad especially enjoyed meeting the princess from Aladdin. OMG...I'm having a senior moment...what's her name???

JASMINE. Whew! Just in the knick of time.

We have 2 "must do" restaurants every time we go to WDW: California Grill and Brown Derby. We've been to 50's and Sci-Fi, but cannot miss BD.
