My adult DD and I will be visiting this fall. I'm planning the daily itinerary and restaurants. I'd like to add a just dessert stop some day. This can be middle of the afternoon or late evening. What are your recommendations? This would not be in the same restaurant as lunch or dinner. We will wait a couple of hours and then go somewhere just for dessert. It can be in a park or at one of the resorts or at DTD, doesn't matter. Just looking for a great place for something really rich with a great cup of coffee. Please give me suggestions.

By far and away the best dessert we had at Disney last year was the chocolate wave cake at the Coral Reef in Epcot. It's located back behind the Living Seas, and was an amazing experience for both of us. The restaurant is very quiet and subdued, and would be an excellent spot to just take a break and enjoy a small bite.

The cake was to die for!!! :cloud9:

It was a perfect combination of warm and cold with the ice cream and hot fudge. Our server was extremely friendly and insisted on helping me with the first bite so that it was "perfect." Absolutely spectacular. :worship:

Beaches and Cream. Their sundaes are divine!

berry cobbler at artist point!!! also had a butterscotch creme brulee at cal grille a few years ago that was divine!!! :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

I'll have to go with Cplofdisneynutz and the Chocolate Wave at the Coral Reef. OMG!!!!!

i have two: the strawberry bucket thing at the HDDR and the almond cheesecake thing at narccoosses.

I would have to say ...
fancier=Creme Brulee in Chefs de France (and they have great coffee too!)
casual=Beaches and cream's No Way Jose sundae (peanut butter ice cream with hot fudge and other yummy items!)The Kitchen sink is fun to order and eat but too much for 2 people.
Last November there were 4 adults and 6 kids and we barely finished the kitchen sink! (However, I have seen 4 people do it but they probably did not eat for the rest of the day!)

Don't think you could go wrong with anything from the Main Street Bakery at MK or the bakery by the fountains at Epcot.
