BEST dessert in WDW?

I loved the mango pie at Yak and yeti.....had an awesome strawberry sauce.....wonderful!!!!!!!

the bread and butter pudding at Raglan Road ooooor the peach tart at Jiko.. I've been trying to find a recipe to make them both. I think i finally did!

Napoleon at Boulangerie Patisserie :)

OT, but Bellanotte10, that drawing in your sig is beautiful, did you do it?

Great question!!!! :thumbsup2

It's so ironic because we were talking about this last night at dinner. My family and I were at BLT Steak in White Plains, NY and my wife had a crepe souffle with a passion fruit sauce - this dessert was so good that I it's beyond my ability to articulate - that's how good! If anyone is ever around the area, just stop in and have it! It's worth the $10.00

Now, back to the original question;

After 11 trips in the last 12 years, here's our breakdown;

Me: Bread Pudding at O'hana and Creme Brulee at Le Chef's de France

Wife: Fried wontons @ Yak & Yeti

Son [15]: Napolean @ the French Bakery [I can't spell the name of the bakery so we'll keep it at that]

The CS in France is Boulangerie Patisserie.

My choices are :

Zebra Domes at Boma. And one time they served us Fried Oreos - sounds terrible, tastes divine !

Creme Brulee at Le Cellier

Banana Split at Beaches 'N Cream - the best combination of yummy taste, atmosphere and service.

The creme brulee tart from Raglan Road.... Yummmmmmm :worship:
Also bread pudding from Ohana and Mickey ice cream bars. As a pastry chef I'm really looking forward to trying some awesome Disney desserts on our next trip. We're making a special trip to Brown Derby just for dessert to try the grapefruit cake. It sounds like we might need to make a trip to Narcoosses for some almond cheesecake!

I'd say it's a tie between Ohana's bread pudding and Via Napoli's tiramisu for me! I am addicted to both and....now I want some!!! ...only 9 months till I'll be there and can get some! :lmao:

Hands down the Banana's Foster Bread Pudding thing at Ohanas.......talk about SIN IN A BOWL! mmmmmmm!

LOL...I had to look up BLT on the web to check them out and see if they still have that dessert! They have another location in Manhattan. I've been to White Plains, but easier for me to get to Manhttan. I think I may have to pay them a visit!:rotfl2:

Speaking of White Plains...and umm food, I had the most amazing bacon at the breakfast buffet at my hotel. I so regret not asking them where they get it from and if I could buy some! Before this, I thought bacon was pretty much bacon, but OH MY, this was no ordinary bacon!!

My fave is the fresh, sweet, & delicious slices of strawberry shortcake at Sunshine Seasons! :love:

That is my favorite too! I've been craving this dessert for 2 years now. :love: I also loved the creme brulee at Wolfgang Puck Express.

My favorites, in no real order:

1) Banana bread pudding at Boma, w/ the delicious vanilla sauce. I love that the sauce is cold and the pudding is all hot and yummy.

2) Bread and Butter Pudding from Raglan Road. So, so amazing. Perfect bread pudding.

3) No Way Jose from Beaches and Cream. Chocolaty peanut buttery perfection!

My other favorites have all been seasonal type desserts from signatures that have come and gone. In the review in my sig, I talk about a strawberry sampler dessert from Flying Fish...ahhh... :cloud9:

My two favorites:

Zeppole at Via Napoli - served with real whipped cream and chocolate ganache

The spumoni at Tony's - tried it for the first time this past trip and LOVED it...pretty sure I might be the only one to list that as a favorite! Those ice creams are not the flavors you think they are!

Since you are planning to go to Chefs de France. The creme brulee is the best I have ever had. Someone said the creme brulee at wolfgang express. Well I actually tried it because the Chefs one was so good and I couldn't eat it. I am now ruined for all others! :rotfl: I also love the Zeppolle at Via Napoli and the Chocolate fondue at Kona. For quick service the strawberry shortcakes at Starring Rolls and Sunshine seasons are yummy!
