Best Dessert at WDW

I can't recall any really memorable desserts from my previous trips to be honest, probably because most of the time I am too full for dessert, but it so happens that this trip I am hitting a lot of the restaurants with good desserts. I will make room to get the Ooey Gooey Cake, Fried Wontons and Banana Creme Brulee.

I do remember having some good desserts at the food and wine festival. I recall a chocolate lava cake concoction from one of the booths in the UK area.

any of the cupcakes from Starring Rolls bakery. Seriously. It's been.. erm, 5 years and I still think about them!

Yup....

I hate bread pudding but LOVE the Ragland Road Bread Pudding & Ooey Gooey Toffee cake from LTT is insane.

FYI- I found a recipe for the Ooey Gooey online one time and made it...I had to throw half of it out because I COULD NOT stop eating it!!! Holy Smokes...so good!

I have had many of the yummy desserts listed, and more I want to try... A couple that, I think, are missing are the chocolate-peanut butter layer cake at 50's Prime Time, and the classic DOLE WHIP FLOAT! Maybe the Dole Whip was omitted by the our smart Disers as it is an anytime item. I could have one for B-L-D and snacks and for dessert every day!!!! The fruit and nutella waffle is also great!

For me it's hands down the strawberry shortcake at Sunshine Seasons (Epcot). I'm not even a strawberry shortcake fan, but it is so amazing here. It's a must do for me every trip.

I have never had bread pudding in my life. I am excited to try it!

The Raglan Road bread pudding is excellent but IMHO the ranking is:

#3 - Boma
#2 - Raglan Road
#1 - 'Ohana

'Ohana has 3 advantages over Raglan - served with Ice Cream, Banana Forster sauce (although the RR sauce is close) and "ALL YOU CAN EAT".

I'm really glad that so many people mentioned the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. I've been wanting to try it for years and this trip I'm going to book an ADR at LTT just to have this dessert as my lunch.

I know they have them everywhere, but don't overlook Selma's Cookies! AKA those large cookies from "Minnie's Bake Shop", but are also in the display cases (I think these are fresher) at many locations (the Main Street Confectionery and Goofy's Candy Company to name a few). They also have these in Universal, which is where I first had them. OMG, literally the best cookies I have ever had. The PB Chocolate is my absolute favorite! I can't wait to use snack credits on these!

Ooooo I love dessert too! Some of my favorites are the creme brule at Wolfgang Puck's, bread pudding at Raglan Road but I cannot leave Disney with getting the chocolate mousse from the bakery in France.

I am so sad that they no longer do Creme Brulee at Wolfgang Puck! It is making us reconsider eating there because it was my absolute fave!!

Ooey Gooey Toffe Cake at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK. It is only served at lunch. I am honestly not a dessert person at all but this one gets me everytime. I also like the peanut butter and jelly milkshake at 50's Prime Time in DHS.

You're the only other person I've ever met that is also allergic to bananas, lol. People always look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them! Tonga Toast is another lost cause for us

Definitely agree with the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake and the PB&J milkshake.

I also like MANY desserts in Epcot. Many of them are from the France pavilion (because you can't really go wrong there!).

All in France Pavilion:
Napoleon
Crème Brulee
Duo
Framboise
Croque Glace

Others:
Tiramisu (Italy)
Troll Horn (Norway)
Churros - there is just something about the Churros in WDW!

I am a huge dessert person! I am adding some of these to my list!
Ones we've tried and loved are the carrot cake cookie at Hollywood Studios, Ohana bread pudding, and the Ghiardelli sundaes.. I especially loved the sea salt caramel one!

Ghiardelli has the best ice cream on WDW IMO
