Best Dessert at WDW

I think for dessert fans there are a few new places to look out for like the new bakery (Amorette?) at Disney Springs... Also the new ice cream place at Boardwalk- Ample Hills Creamery. Also this is not in Disney and also not open yet but I'm excited for Toothsome Chocolate Emporium at Universal ;)

The Warm Glazed Doughnut (with Cinnamon Apples and topped with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce) at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater... OMG... :P

:eek::eek::eek: Wow.... Just Wow!!!! I've never heard of this! I may switch a reservation just to get that!

DD and I wanted to try this in Dec., but had to get to TSMM to make the end of our FP window, so had to take milkshakes to go instead. She just saw this pic and is salivating, wishing we had tried it!

Ooey Gooey Toffee cake at Liberty Tree Tavern is probably my absolute favourite but I also love the bread pudding at Raglan Road and Ghirardelli Sundaes (which poses a problem since both are at Downtown Disney/Disney Springs and we usually only go there once during a trip and I can't possibly eat both of those desserts in one afternoon).

I love the Chocolate Banana Crème Brulee at Kona. The best part used to be the caramelized banana they served with it, but last time I went it just had 3 or 4 slices of banana on top of the crème brulee.
I used to love the Cappuccino Cupcake at Pizza Planet... really hoping they've moved it somewhere else!

I am right there with you, i love dessert. We eat dessert almost every night in my house and i love to bake.
My personal favorite is the berry cobbler at Artist Point. OMG. Ever since we ate there we have talked about going back because of the cobbler (and cedar plank salmon :) )

Ooooo I love dessert too! Some of my favorites are the creme brule at Wolfgang Puck's, bread pudding at Raglan Road but I cannot leave Disney with getting the chocolate mousse from the bakery in France.

I love dessert!

I 2nd the vote for Chocolate Wave at Coral Reef - I dream about that thing.
the last time i had it it was served with vanilla ice cream... that many years ago. I saw someone mention that they requested it that way instead of the raspberry gelato. what are your thoughts on the raspberry gelato? would it be better with vanilla? this is VERY VERY IMPORTANT lol

We don't tend to get desserts in the restaurants, BUT my favorite sweet at WDW is carrot cake cookies. They used to be at Writer's Stop in DHS but I've read they're now at Sweet Spells. THE BEST!!

I'm pretty sure I read that they are back now in the Writer's Stop since they reopened. They are really yummy!

Alas, all my favorites are now gone (Fired coconut ice cream at Ohana, Apple tart with cinnamon ice cream at LTT, my beloved strawberry and cream cake at Chefs de France). But Beirgarten still has wonderful desserts, none better than the Bavarian Cheesecake!

On my to-do list for next trip: Crema gelato at Vivoli Gelataria, Key Lime tart at Olivia's, D-Oh bar at Cooks of Dublin, etc, etc, etc

Bread pudding at Raglan Road. No contest. Best dessert I've had ANYWHERE!

Oh, it's a contest indeed. The very reason there are so many different desserts mentioned. :goodvibes

My personal favorites not in any particular order other than the first.
  • Almond Crusted Cheesecake - Narcoossee's
  • Bread Pudding- Raglan Road
  • Caramelized Banana Napoleon - Flying Fish
  • Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake - Liberty Tree Tavern
  • Chocolate Wave - Coral Reef
  • Breakfast Lasagna - Crystal Palace... I know, it's breakfast, but this stuff is as addicting as any drug on earth.

Oh no, it must be raspberry gelato. It's the raspberry/chocolate combination that I love so much. Vanilla ice cream would be okay, but it would be a bit more "normal" then, I think.
