I LOVE my desserts, and I am not sure which to pick at Le Cellier next month. I love any kind of creme brulee, but the smores sound delicious, too! Help me decide! What is the best dessert there?

And please add pics if you have them!

I'm glad to see there are lots of other big dessert fans out there! For me dessert is the best bit of the meal :thumbsup2

When we ate at Le Cellier I had the Chocolate-on-Chocolate whisky cake and it was Excellent!!! If you're a chocolate fan it is devine. Unfortunately I don't have a picture though.

My friend had the creme brulee and it also looked good, but i'd say the chocolate whisky cake was a winner. I think though what ever you choose at Le Cellier you will love. Hey you could even order 2, it is vacation time after all! :cool1:

Unfortunately I don't have pics to share (I will in a few weeks :cloud9: ), but the creme brulee is wonderful. When we went they had a trio sampler, and the maple was the best by far... and I wasn't looking forward to trying that one.
The whiskey cake did look good, however.

My husband had a two variety sampler of the creme brulee last year - vanilla and maple, and the maple was outstanding. I had the Chocolate "moose" which was excellent, as well. I've heard that may be off the menu now; I'll be disappointed if it is. It was one of my favorite desserts!

I love  the campfire s'mores at Le Cellier. When I ordered them I didn't think they would be anything special, but they were so good. :thumbsup2 They're probably my second favorite dessert at Disney next to the chocolate wave at Coral Reef.

Once they had a chocolate bread pudding - it was a special. I have never seen it appear on an online menu. I haven't seen it since (this was years ago) It was fantastic.

I doubt it will be there, but tell the story because don't get set now on what you want to eat then - the menu sometimes does change and - contrary to recent posts - sometimes it even changes for the better.

(They have, in the past, had a good brulee and my kids love the Moose.)

As of 8/11, it was still there --

OP, I absolutely loved the "moose", it was sweet, but not too sweet. DH had the chocolate whiskey cake and, even though he's not a big chocolate fan, declared it one of the best deserts he'd tasted.

Another vote for the maple creme brulee. Creme brulee is one of my favs and I am a little picky about it. I absolutely loved it!

I had the maple creme brulee. It was very good. I would definetely consider it. Maybe everyone could order something different so that you all could sample each other's desserts.

Another vote for the "moose" It was one of my favs of my last trip. Not too sweet. Perfect balance of chocolate. YUMMY!!! :)

IMO the best dessert!

Thanks for all the responses! The moose is so cute!! What a tough decision. I think we will all have to order something different so I can try a little of each!

The Maple Creme Brulee is probably my favorite dessert in all of Disney World! YUM YUM!

That is excellent news! I'm so glad to hear they've had the "moose" recently! Thanks for letting me know! :cool1:

When we went, I had the moose and my boyfriend had the smores and we shared. Both were fabulous and had really nice presentation as well. If I had to pick between the two, I would pick the smores because of its uniqueness. We did not order the creme brulee since there are a number of restaurants in Disney that also serve versions of that one (France is my fav).

My favorite is the chococate "moose". It was not on the menu in March 2008 but I asked our waitress if it was still available. She said it was and that is what I had. I enjoyed every bite of it!!!:thumbsup2

We love the Maple Creme Brulee. DH thinks it's the best brulee on property, and it's one of his favorite deserts over-all.

We love the desserts at Le Cellier! Here are some of our faves (the pictures were taken during our last visit to the World in September 2007):

DS loves the Campfire S'mores (chocolate graham crackers with roasted marshmallows and vanilla ice cream.)

The fruit syrups (mango, lime, strawberry) they drizzle on the plate are both colourful and delicious. DS ate every bite of this.

DH's favourite is the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake (chocolate cake brushed with Canadian whiskey, layered with chocolate mousse, finished with tarragon anglaise, topped with a chocolate curl.)

I chose one of their seasonal desserts, Cherry Shortcake (cherry-almond cake topped with housemade lavender ice cream. I had them serve the lavender ice cream on the side in case I didn’t like it.) It was delicious!
