Hello,
We are WDW vets, and I am planning my family's first Disneyland vacation. It is me, DW, DD7, and DS3. and prefer to fly at 9am or later. I know you can fly non-stop from AUS to LAX on American, Southwest, or United, but prefer to fly into SNA. A search on Kayak right now for flying from AUS to SNA in late January 2013 has $362 tickets for sale ($1445 for four). Does this seem high for flying to Disneyland area?

Has anyone ever flown from Austin (or Houston or Dallas) to Disneyland? What did you pay, how far in advance did you buy, and what airline/airport did you use?

Thanks in advance.

I would check Jetblue into Long Beach. I've been pricing from Seattle and Long Beach has been way cheaper for me then SNA. Not sure if you can look into January yet on Jetblue. Plus you don't pay for your first bag from them.

Long Beach is a straight shot to Disneyland and easy to get in and out of. I liked it better because we weren't landing by the mountains and it was a much smoother landing then SNA for us.

Right now it looks like it's probably $125 each way on Jetblue. They only show out to Jan 7th so far. So I bet you could get alot cheaper then your looking at right now.

Nice. I will include JetBlue in my search. Thanks 8timesblessed!
