New-B here! I am a frequent traveler to WDW but this time will be going to Disneyland January. I have only been to DL once before many years ago. I am trying to find the best deal for passes. I usually purchase tickets for WDW from Undercover Tourist, and they offer really good deals. Is there any place that sells tickets for DL where they offer free days added on. I saw some tickets, but it looks like they expire in October.
Any help/tips for good park hoppers will be greatly appreciated.

Try Mousesavers.com. My sisters boyfriend told me that you can buy used park hoppers from eBay. I think you have 14 days to use the hopper from the first day used. The sellers say that they have not expired but I wouldn't know how to check.

Never, ever buy park tickets from eBay. It isn't worth the possibility of getting scammed. As you noted, you can't check whether they're still valid. And even if they haven't "expired", Disney park tickets aren't transferable, so you're breaking the rules. If the CM's suspect something, they may ask a lot of questions ("what day was it first used", etc) to see if you were the original ticket holder. So you could still get it confiscated.

Just not worth it. Go through a legitimate channel.

I am certainly not looking for something that is not legitimate.
I am looking for a reputable company.

Sorry, Steamboat Girlie. I never meant to imply that you weren't looking for legitimate. I was just replying to derekk, who provided dangerous advice that I didn't want to stand without a response.

I'm an AP holder, so I don't know about discounters for parkhoppers. I know that there are a couple of companies that folks on the DIS recommend, including (I think) GetAwayToday.com. But I have no firsthand knowledge. Hopefully another DISer will come by soon with some recommendations.

I am in with GB, there are a few who like to skirt the law and you are the one left holding the bag. Good advice.

We bought our tickets at a really good deal through Last Minute Travel. There were entire threads about this company, because their pricing was so much better, and seemed to work great for people. No problems, all legit. You can check them out, however, I think they may have gone up in price since we purchased a couple months ago for our July trip. I haven't compared them in a while, so just another one to look at. You have to choose activities and then Anaheim, theme parks... Good Luck, discounted tix seem hard to come by!

No worries GrandBob. I didn't think you were implying I was doing anything shady.

Thanks for that. Also, thanks for telling me how to find theme park tix on their website. I could have been there all day!

I just priced Last Minute Travel, Getaway Today and Disneyland's site for our 5-day park hoppers in July. LMT was more than both. I didn't see any '5 for 3' option, that's probably why. GAT was $3/ticket less than DL but has a $20 handling fee that negates that savings (though I guess we could've bought them when we booked our hotel through them and the one fee would've covered both). So Disneyland with their free e-ticket delivery option is the cheapest that I can see, for us.

I could be mistaken but I do not believe Get Away Today charges shipping on ticket only purchases do they?

Has anyone tries ares travel, I saw it on the mousesavers site?

It looks like the Parkhoppers on Ares are $5 cheaper across the board than disneyland.com. If I recall correctly, they do add on a convenience fee of $1.25 per ticket, or something like that. That roughly $4 savings may be negated by the extra step involved in redeeming the voucher at the park. With the Ares vouchers, the original purchaser has to go to the ticket booth to exchange the voucher for the actual ticket, and then proceed to the turnstiles to enter the park. When ordering through disneyland.com and using the e-ticket option, the voucher you print gets taken directly to the turnstile to be exchanged, bypassing the wait at the ticket booth. Ares also does not offer a 6 day hopper option that I can see.

I put the tickets only in my cart and went to check out. It told me they were adding a $20 handling fee. I didn't actually check out so maybe it does come off in the end when they realize you just bought tickets? Not sure but I know I paid it for my hotel res. and all they did there was send me some papers, too, so I figured it applied anytime they had to send you an envelope. Maybe not. I'm not going to find out. LOL

According to the Getawaytoday website:

Ticket-only orders are not subject to a handling or a shipping fee.
