My DH won't definitely book as he says there will be better deals coming out for summer such as free dining or something. I think the 4 plus 3 free is really great. He says better ones are coming. What do you think? Have you heard any buzzing or any "gut" reactions like him? HELP!!!
I want to go but respect his feelings too. :confused3

The fact is the 4/3 deal that now runs through June is the first summer discount we've seen since 9/11. I too hope additional codes come out, :surfweb: but the key is to book now and then adjust your reservation. If you wait too much longer this 4/3 deal may be sold out and that would be a shame! As far as free dining, there are packages out there you add. We do the dining plan for 20% off because the other plan simply has too much food for our family--we couldn't possibly eat it all. I understand where your DH is coming from, but to wait may be to lose out:headache:

We booked using it - 1953.47 for 7 nights, 8 base tickets for my family of 6 (5 tickets). We couldn't pass this one up.

We've cancelled 2 trips this year due to rising gas costs.

Wow that's great. My family of six tried to book 2 value rooms instead of the POR room with trundle. Our kids are similar in age to yours, but we really wanted 2 bathrooms. No such luck, all values are booked for our dates. However, it looks like your total cost wasn't much more than we estimated ours would be. And gas is so much cheaper now...hopefully it will still be low when you take your trip!

I have an Annual Pass and am hoping an Annual Pass discount comes out that beats the 4/3 deal, but I'm not counting on it. I went ahead and booked the 4/3 deal and if an AP discount comes out that's better, all I have to do is cancel my current deal. However, at least I have the 4/3 deal to fall back on, if necessary. I'd go ahead and book, before they're all gone.

I too am waiting for a better AP deal, but since we are going in June, it might not happen. In fact, the prices for the time we normally go have gone up from Value season to summer season, or something like that. We will be using the 4/3 ticket to renew our AP's.

We booked with the 3 for 4 deal but then started looking offsite.
I found an offsite place I liked for HALF what our onsite ressie was for.

Is it a good deal? Yes. Will there be more deals? Yes, but maybe not as deep, and maybe not for the resort or room class you have your heart set on. Is it really a good enough deal that you are getting a good value for your money??

With the economy what it is, we are still planning a great vacation but on a smaller budget for next year. And I think the truth is, once we stay offsite, we probably won't go back to staying onsite. This will be our first off site trip in a decade.

Good enough for us to go back. Its been a few years since we've been at Disney, I've been waiting for something like this deal for a while. We are staying at PC this time but even including our airfair we are saving money.
