Best days to visit Universal and IOF week after Easter

We arrive the Tuesday after Easter...wondering what are the best days for doing each park? We are staying offsite...what are the stratagies? Up early...which park first ...I am going to get the five days in a row pass. Thanks I can't wait for Florida...we are getting snow today!
