Best days to visit MK

Just wondering what is the best day to visit the Magic Kingdom. We will be heading down from Toronto area in July and I have visited several websites but always get different information. Some say Thursday, others say Friday. Does WDW have early entry hours for WDW Hotel guests? I was warned that we should not attempt going into Early Entry parks as they are filled with guests by the time regular 'joes' walk in at normal entry. We will be off site in St. Petes and plan on driving over for the day so I want to make sure it's an enjoyable day and not full of disappointment because we arrived on the wrong day.

Also, has anyone every used the WDW Kennel service? We recently bought a black toy poodle who has become the love of our lives and my boys (15 and 11) don't want to leave her at the condo we are renting so I plan to use the kennel and am wondering what the facilities are like. Should I bring food and toys, etc?

I believe early entry in the MK is Mondays and Thursdays. One of the more popular theories is that a lot of people arrive in WDW on a Sunday and make the MK their first stop on Monday. Also, a lot of people leave on a Saturday and make the MK their last stop on Friday. Thursdays are EMH, so they get pretty busy too. So, I would suggest Tuesday or Wednesday. This past July we went to the MK on a Saturday morning right and it was pretty empty until about noon. We have also experienced this on a Sunday morning. Hope this helps!

Go to MK on Tuesday. Most people go to the MK first. So by tues most have moved on to Epcot.

Even if Tuesday April 27th is the ONLY weeknight this week
when SpectroMagic takes place ??
The MK stays open till 9:30 p.m. on the 27th- 9:00 p.m.

I think in this case it will be emptier in the morning, but crowds will continue to grow towards the evening building up to Spectro.

EMH is Sunday and Thursday at the MK. Go the day after the EMH.

Early Magic Hour--It's what Disney now calls the old Early Entry days.
