hi everyone,
just wanted to know if any of you have any tips about what parks to visit on certain days. For example is Animal Kingdom less crowded on let's say tuesdays than Friday's or is Magic Kingdom better to visit on Mondays instead of Wednesdays etc.? We will be to WDW from Nov. 17-22, 2003.
thanks,
the tramp

First off, you're going at a great time and most likely it won't matter what day of the week (with the exception of weekends of course) you go to the parks.

I don't know which days are EE, but if you look that up (or if someone could post them because I am curious myself actually) I would think those are the days to avoid that particular park. I have heard that Monday and Thursday's are the worst at MK, but I find that Monday's at MGM is horrible. I've also heard that Thursday's at AK are crowded the most. I would guess because people that arrive on Sunday will most likely do MK on Mon, Epcot on Tue, MGM on Wed and AK on Thursday or something like that. Maybe someone else can provide better insight.

We tend to go to AK on the weekends and it's not to bad. I think alot of people only spend the morning there so it thins out in the afternoon. Sometimes we try MGM on Saturdays and it is usually pretty crowded.

We like going the day after a park has EE. I don't think Monday mornings at MK are that bad since they started having EE on Sunday.

5 years ago when the AK opened we had a van driver tell us that the best time to visit the park was first thing Sunday morning and head straight for the Safari. Since then it's been a tradition to arrive early, have breakfast at the RFC and we've neve had to wait in line.

Go to: www.touringplans.com and check their interactive "best days" planner. You specify which park(s) and what season, and it tells you the best days to go. Pretty neat.

Extra Magic Hour parks:
Sunday - Magic Kingdom
Monday - Animal Kingdom
Tuesday - MGM Studios
Wednesday - Epcot
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday - Animal Kingdom
Saturday - MGM Studios

Hope that helps. :)
