Best days to stay at HRH

or another Universal resort ?

Background... we are planning a 1st trip to Orlando July 2009. Probably a condo/villa in Kissimee.
Have already bought Universal $88 1 day tickets from Dreams Unlimited that are valid from 1 week from first use. Thought that a 1 or 2 night stay at a Universal hotel might be worth it for FOTL access.

So looking for suggestions on what day(s) to consider staying at HRH or similar.

By the way our party is 2 adults and 3 children (11, 9 and 7)

Weekdays are usually less busy but if you are staying onsite, it makes no difference.
