Best days to go to US &IOA

Hi!
Can anybody tell me what are the very best days/nights to go to US&IOA? I am thinking we might have to go Friday and possibly Saturday? We have 3 day passes but we are also doing 3 days at WDW. I am thinking 1 1/2 to 2 days would be plenty as we are both (non coaster riding) adults .

Are you staying onsite? If not, you' may need a bit more time to do things. There are only 3 rollercoaster at IOA, so there's still plenty to do over there...depending on your taste. Spiderman you'll have to do at least.
At US you'd probably like all the rides over there, though ET is a kiddie type ride (many adults ride it and love it, but it's not "thrilling"). You'd have to get an Express pass for Shrek as soon as the park opens if you want to not worry about 100 minute wait or so.
So, without FOTL, go 2 days. I think you should spend most of your time at Universal Studios. Maybe start out and go on Spiderman when the park opens, just so you don't have the long line, then head to US. The next day go to US when it opens and get the Shrek Express Pass, then do whatever.
I believe Friday through Monday are the budiest days...based on my experience, because those who have to take off work, usually miss a day near the weekend so they have a day to "recover" as my dad calls it. It's not impossible to do all (or at least most) you want during 2 of those days, but it is more crowded.

Thanks very much for the insight! You're probably right to say we should spend 2 days anyway...Who wants to rush while you're on vacation anyway!
