Anyone have experience with the least crowded days @ TL? What about the most? TIA:Pinkbounc

I would guess that the beginning of the week would be the least crowded, building towards the weekends, which would be the most crowded.

we were just there this past week and I thought the water parks would be less crowded at the beginning of the week. We went to BB on Tuesday and it was extremely crowded.......we arrived at 9:30 (the park opened at 10:00) and the line was all the way out to the parking lot. The whole park was just packed all the way to closing. Maybe this was because it was 96 degrees, who knows.

We went to TL on Friday and it was much better.......not nearly as crowded and much more shaded and relaxing.

I think during the summer months especially-- there really isn't one day thats going to be better than another. I do find that during less crowded times-- the beginning and ends of the week are better. Mostly because a majority of people are starting and finishing their trips and don't usually start or end w/ the water parks (of course theres always the exception).

We just visited TL this past week and discovered a great tip worth sharing ... sleep in and enjoy the waterpark in the afternoon.

We arrived at TL at about 2:00pm on Thursday, it was very crowded. The head count at that time was 5500 people (with a max capacity of about 7500). However, the wave pool and lazy river are always available without a wait. The whole family enjoyed those cooling attractions for the first 90 minutes. At about 3:30pm, the crowd began to dramatically decrease, so we started going on the slides and raft rides with very reasonable 10-15 minute waits. By 4:30pm, there wasn't any tangible wait for anything. We were able to enjoy the place while it was practically empty from 4:30-5:30pm. The kids were all tired by that time, so we headed out (but the park was open until 6pm).
