Ok, I can't find in my notes from my last trip what days were best during off season and busy season for the different parks. We are going December 5-9 (Sunday-Thursday) Thursday being a 1/2 day. What are your suggestions? I know about the MK on Sunday being crowded because of the taping of the ABC Christmas parade.

::MickeyMo Per Disney ::MinnieMo as found on AllEars

"During regular attendance periods, our parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:

Magic Kingdom: Monday, Thursday, and Saturday
Epcot: Tuesday and Friday
Disney-MGM Studios: Sunday and Wednesday
Disney's Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday"

Does anyone have a Birnbaums book they can tell me what they say in there?

You'll notice the phrase 'during regular attendance periods'...in a previous post. You will likely not have to contend with 'real' crowds at any park, any day (maybe with the exception of Sunday, but, if I recall correctly in past years, Saturday has been the 'big' day for taping the parade). We just got back late yesterday (actually, early today), and with the exception of yesterday, didn't find the crowds a problem at all. Have fun!

I'd have to argue with this one. In my experience, Tues and Wed are slower days at AK, and Mo/Fr/Sa tend to be the 3 busiest days.

I also have to disagree a little bit. I followed this advice in early May and ended up at the Magic Kingdom on a Tuesday, which happened to be a Spectromagic day. The park was packed and annoying. The entire rest of the trip was fine. I say look at the early entry days for each of the parks, and avoid them, and avoid the Magic Kingdom on Spectromagic days.
