We will be in Orlando from Aug 21st thru Sept 4th.

I have looked and have not found a lot about the best day of the week (lowest crowds) to visit SW. Anyone have any advice or knowledge about this?

Thank you :goodvibes

Right now because the crowds are so low, a lot of locals are there on the weekend. I went thursday after noon from 2 to close and it was very quiet. On saturday from 2 to close seemed a little busier and it was rainy.

I'd stick to middle of the week. Since florida schools start early august, the locals will be back to weekend outings.

Weekends are always going to be busier, although I usually avoid WDW on the weekends because there crowds are a lot bigger then SW's crowds. So I would consider that in your planning, otherwise I agree with Sandra, weekdays are going to be much less crowded then a weekend.

Disney doesn't seem to see that great of a difference. The crowds stay consistant throughout the seasons.

Sea world on the other hand, you notice the difference, from ride times, to how crowded it gets at interactions. But pay attention to weekend happenings at sea world. Jack hannah sometimes does show tapings on the weekeneds. And most their events like the halloween stuff only happen on the weekends. So if you want to see something special, it might be worth it to deal with the crowds.
But you can also come back for that second day free.

Thinking of jack Hanna---he will be there April 16,17, and 18. His show is definitely worth a trip over. Last time we went we went to 2 shows in 1 day.
If you are a season pass holder you go in early through a side entrance for a meet and greet with him and get better seats.

He brings in all kinds f animals and is just as hyper , interesting, and funny as he is when on a talk show.

That's soo cool. I'll have to do that as a birthday treat to myself (april 30). I'm thinking of doing discovery cove. It's expensive and I shouldn't do it, but it's so tempting now for some reason.

Just thought I would add that if anyone in your group likes sharks, I just read in our planning book that they feed the sharks on tuesday and thursdays, you would have to call for times, or pick up a guide when you get to the park.
