We have 5 available days (not counting arrival and departure) and are planning to get 4-day park hoppers.

The five days are Wed., March 23 - Easter Sun., March 27.

We fly out first thing Monday (3/28), so was thinking our day off should be Saturday. In other words, Parks on Wed., Thur., Fri., day off Sat., and then Parks on Sunday.

But will Easter Sunday be a ZOO!?!

Sunday is our last full day and thought that the kids are going to want to hit Magic Kingdom one more time -- How crazy is that going to be? Is it even worth it to do early entry to MK on Easter Sunday?

Dave Barry once wrote..."The best time to go to WDW to avoid the crowds would be 1962."

Otherwise, the place contains a lot of people most of the time around the holidays. I do follow the list that Disney.com used to provide concerning what days of the week are generally more crowded at particular parks but mostly I just go with whatever mood I have. Crowds are part of it. If you want to experience WDW on Easter then part of that experience will, in all probability, be large crowds.

I think it's a good idea to take Saturday off. You could try EE at MK Sunday, but be prepared to hop to another park at least by noon. You may even want to leave sooner if the crowds get unbearable. I'd take the monorail over to Epcot. I know they do special celebrations in World Showcase's different countries on other holidays. Maybe they will do something special on Easter too. I'd also plan on doing MK's EE on Thursday.

Thanks, Everyone!

Here's what we're thinking, please let me know what you think::chat:

• Wed, our 1st day at Parks and also my 40th B-day --
EPCOT EE, back to Poly. afternoon, MGM in PM, Hollywood & Vine-Fantasmic Dinner Show

• Thur., MK EE, back to Poly. afternoon, Epcot WS in PM

• Fri., AK EE, back to Poly. afternoon, MK in PM (Boy, will it be crowded?!?)

• Sat., relax at Poly. ride monorails to other resorts, relax

• Sun., last full day, MK EE, back to Poly. afternoon, TBD in PM -- family choice

Kids are not into character meals, so other than PS for Fantasmic show, might not have anything else pre-planned. Possibly O'Hana PS dinner one night but am not sure. Am hoping kids are up for IllumiNations or WISHES on-site :chat:

I'd avoid Saturday at the parks. We planned our trip so that we wouldn't be in the parks on a Saturday. We arrived in Orlando on Saturday night and started out at Disney on Sunday with DTD in the daytime and MNSSHP at night.

You might want to consider having 1 PS for each day since it will be so crowded. You can call and cancel if you do not need it but otherwise the waits for meals could be really long.:D
