Best day to go & Night Parade

Hi My family and I will be in So. Cal for a week the last week of August. We wanted to go to DL and hop over to CA one day during the week. Is there a certain day that the crowds are usual lower than others? Also does DL still have the Electric Parade? Thanks so much!

Disneyland and California Adventure do not have the electrical parade anymore.
