Hi everyone - back in planning mode! :yay:

We're planning a second trip to the magic to make use of our Annual Passes, for the week beginning the 10th October (no black out days that week). Going to be on a tight budget (as going to the US next year) so will be staying at the Ibis again as very good value!

My question is - what days during the week will be the quietest/best to visit? Just the two of us, and we went in June so will want to the rides that were closed last time, our favourites again, and just enjoy the atmosphere more!

We're also planning to spend a day or two in Paris itself, either travelling in from Val d Europe or staying in a hotel in the city, but can be flexible about which days we do what! I know some of the museums close on certain days, so need to check this.

I've checked and there don't seem to be any school hols that week - am I imagining that French schools get Wednesday's off? Was that ever true!?

Hoping the Park will be Halloweeny by then, would you recommend the MNSSHP for 2 adults no kids?, we'd have liked to do the Terrorific Night but can't get that time off work (or use our APs!)

Thanks in advance -our last trip was brilliant thanks in a large part to all the tips I picked up from the boards, can't wait to get back!

I know Carrie Cat tries to avoid Wednesdays in the parks as some (is it primary age?) children in the area don't have school all day on Wednesdays. Having said that, Wednesday is usually either our first or last trip day in all seasons, and I honestly don't think its busy on a Wednesday midweek in term time :).

I saw lots of adult couples at MNSSHP last year :goodvibes - dressed up, enjoying the rides and the shows, chasing autographs and photos at the end of the night etc.

Thanks! Sure it can't be as busy as it was in June when I think most of Europe's teenagers were there on a school trip!

If we end up being there on Friday (depends on train prices) will give MNSSHP a go - if we can get tickets!

I was able to get tickets for the Friday 14th MNSSHP when I booked on Friday night.

Excellent!

Just weighing up our options as pushes the train price up a fair bit - but now I've seen the videos on youtube I want to go! Maybe ending Disney on a high with the halloween party and heading to Paris on Saturday is the answer...

What time does the party finish?

officially the party ends after the final Cars n Stars cavalcade at 11.15pm - but there is a huge meet n greet after this, so you could still be collecting pics/autographs at midnight :goodvibes.

Oh crikey I will never get my two to bed and up to do EMH on the Saturday! Will have to have an afternoon snooze I think!

we've always done Sunday to Thursday to avoid the weekend crowds and its always worked for us if that's any help?

Thanks - we went Sunday to Tuesday in the summer and crowds were quite low... but we'd like to try and see the halloween party so will call up tomorrow to book tickets and if they are available we'll just have to brave the crowds!
