Best day of the week to visit?

Is there a best day of the week to visit the parks? We will be going for just one day during a visit to Paris and we'd like to leave it up in the air till we decide "hey the weather looks good, we aren't too tired, let's go!" But I also want to keep in mind a good day to go, our choices are Sun through Thurs.

And sort of on the same note is it really dumb to wait and buy tickets at the gate? I'd just hate to buy them in advance and then if god forbid things didn't work out and we ended up not getting to take a day trip then we are out the money. Is it a huge price difference?

NOT Sunday - not sure about Mondays, but on our experience Tuesday - Thursdays were quiet. But I'm talking during term time! When are you going??

We've been three times before and have always found that Tuesday is the quietest day. But like cds I've only ever been in term time. Below is a link listing all of the school holidays for France and Belgium. If you go any day during those it is likely to be busy (and on any weekend).

As for buying tickets, this is from the Disneyland Paris website:

Thanks guys maybe we'll aim for Tuesday since that works well with our schedule. I had a feeling Sunday would be crowded, but apparently that day of our trip there is a huge marathon and we were hoping that maybe it was a good day to get out of the city. We'll be there part of the first and second week of April.
