(As an aside, I just typed this all up and then lost it. I love/hate the internet!)
I am posting to give a shout out (I think I originally said brag on) my DD, 26. She has always been an independent girl, but shares my love of all things Disney. In fact, it was our first trip together (minus DH) that sparked our purchase of DVC. But I digress.
She manages a restaurant about 2 hours away from our beach house. (OK, not really ours, but my DH spent every summer there since he was eight and we've spent time there every summer for the past 27 years.) So we like to stop in and at least see her even if she's busy and our visit is brief.
To get to the point - she said she had a small surprise for me. Great! Well, I never would have guessed. She pulled of her wrist these Silly Bandz... something I had never heard of until a week ago when a little boy I used to watch gave me one. Luckily his mom explained the craze and the shortages...??? Why didn't I think of this?
Anyway, my dear, darling, Disney daughter went on Amazon and bought Disney Silly Bandz. She gave me Mickey, Minnie, Tinkerbell and a whole cast of Disney characters. She was so excited to lay all the different ones out on the table. And she gave me a whole bag full!
Apparently the restaurant staff knows about her addiction so all ribbing is in good fun and all her holiday gifts are Disney related. I just thought it this is the place to share how ridiculously happy I was to get my Disney bracelets from my DD.

My DD(21) babysat for a little 5 yr old boy a couple of weeks ago, and he had a slew of them, including a Mickey head. DD made such a big deal about it and how much we love Disney, that he just had to call me to tell me about it, and gleefully ask "are ya jealous?" LOL He's a cutie. He ended up giving it to DD.
