Pretty sure WalMart isn't one of them, in which case that dog should have been left at home or leashed outside on the hitching post. Putting it in a baby stroller does not make it a baby.

I‘m not familiar with Walmart’s policy regarding dogs. I rarely shop there. My point stands though, there are chains and mom and pop stores that do allow dogs regardless of how others feel about it.

Sure, yes, I agree there are. But the OP's example is in a WalMart (as per her post) where animals, other than service animals, are not permitted.

Wow some people are so Grinchy lol... Or maybe its Lucy Van Pelt, `A dog! Get some hot water! Get some disinfectant! Get some iodine!` :rotfl2:

Cute dog btw
I'm largely indifferent to animals; I don't hate them. I do find people who feel entitled to break rules obnoxious though. I doubt too many people here would be cooing over a "cute" picture of an "adorable" child climbing over the railings at WDW to pet the ducks. :scratchin

I love when I see cute dogs in stores. Brightens up my day! I keep my son‘s frenchie a good bit, and he does go into stores where he is allowed. He will have a huge crowd of people around him, just wanting to pet him. He just adores all the attention. FCDA9E94-774B-4286-A4EB-15CD4B1D0535.jpeg

How exactly does a dog in a carrier, basket, etc., cause issues with the food? He does not touch the food or walk anywhere near the food, while all sorts of human hands touch the food. And we all know how dirty our hands can be.
Because most health departments prohibit animals in places that sell food. That includes grocery stores, Walmart’s, Targets, the hardware store, etc as well as restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops etc.

Dog people are a weird breed. LOL I get that everyone loves their pets, I love my kitty cats. But admit it, you all would be looking at me like I was a nut job if I went around pushing my cats in a stroller and bringing them into the store with me. Or if someone with any other animal other than a dog did that. What bothers people the most is those who blatantly disregard the rules. If no dogs are allowed, that means yours too. Now if the business allows it, and it is clearly posted, then that is fine because people are forewarned. If I could get dog people to understand one thing is that not everyone loves your dog like you love your dog. That's it.
