My aunt who has always spoiled me rotten and has now carried that tradition on to my kids is joining us on our trip this month. This summer I joined her on a crazy trek all over New York City looking for the best cupcake in New York. She loves cupcakes!

I'd love to surprise her by having a list of great places to get a cupcake in Disney World. She'd never think to look into this herself (she's turning 50 this year and has never been to Disney and has no idea what to expect).

So any recommendations for great cupcakes???

Starrings Rolls at Studios has awesome cupcakes, the peanutbutter and chocolate one is the best!

At Kusafari Bakery in Animal Kingdom I got a white chocolate elephant cupcake - it was a chocoalte cake with a german chocolate topping and a white chocolate elephant on top. The cake was yummy but the elepahnt was gross.

Starring Rolls. Peanut butter and chocolate, Butterfinger or White Chocolate (I love the white chocolate myself)

I really enjoyed the Black Forest Cupcake at The Contempo Cafe! I still want to dig in to one of those Butterfinger Cupcakes at Starring Rolls!

I agree, the Starring Roles Butterfinger Cupcake is AMAZING!! And it is huge too, two people can share it. Delicious with amazing creamy filling.

I am a cupcake lover and can't wait to try some of these. Hopefully they are snack items on the DDP.

Where was the best cupcake in NY? I love Magnolia Bakery!

I'm curious to know this too! I like Billy's and Two Little Red Hens.

But all the Disney cupcakes look delicious. Next trip I am definitely going to try almost all of those.

Hi

I am new here in DISboards.com, But i am starting to loving your site.
Thanks for sharing your links.

Thanks so much, my aunt will be THRILLED with a list of cupcakes to try!

Magnolia's is the one that has a location inside Grand Central, right? Everyone else loved it but I got a devil's food type cupcake and I wasn't a fan. I can't remember the name of the place my aunt liked best... Mama something, from a tv show, I think?

I'm dying to try Starring Rolls, we've never been in there! And we leave in TWO days!!!! yahooooooooo

We LOVED the Dolce de leche cupcake at Contempo at the CR. SUPER and a snack credit or dessert for CS to boot!

I wasn't a huge fan of these cupcakes, which were at Sussgkeiten, Seashore Sweets, Main Street Confectionery and Goofy's Candy Company:

These were at the Boardwalk Bakery but I didn't get to try them:

I think Starring Rolls at Disney's Hollywood Studios has the biggest selection of unusual cupcakes. Their Butterfinger Cupcake gets a lot of posts here. I didn't love it, but many people do.

Carrot cupcake with cream cheese frosting at Roaring Fork -it was great!
