I'm looking for a little help finding ideas for a good CS in EACH park. We're headed to WDW for the 1st time ever in Jan. Please keep in mind we have the DP & would like good food as well as selection & good portions. Thanks for the help!!! :)

I just really want to bump this up. I am finalizing our plans and while we have a few ADRs, I need lots of CS selections to fill. Would you please list your favorite for each park? I especially never know where to eat at Studios.

Here are some favorites -

MK - Columbia Harbor House. The food is fresh and when Disney conducts the Keys to the Kingdom tour it includes lunch at this location. I have enjoyed everything I've had there - sandwiches, soup, chicken, salad and dessert.

Epcot - Future World - Sunshine Seasons. Great desserts and baked goods. The biggest variety - sushi, sandwiches, hot entrees, great salads. Perhaps my favorite CS on property.

AK - Flametree. Ribs are great. Sides are too. Haven't tried Yak & Yeti CS yet.

MGM - nothing to recommend. I would try to avoid their CS. I've tried several and the one that I did like - Flatbread Grill - is closed right now.

Happy eating!!

MK - The CS near tommrow world.. has a LOT of choices For dessert I reccomend the Dole whip.... yumm

Epcot - SO many choices.. you can just go from country to country (can u tell I went to the food festival? lol) My fav is The pastry shop in france... good sandwiches and delish pasties.. OMG just go for the pastries!!! No trip is complete without a stop there!

Studios - OK, not very exciting stuff to choose from. The best of the worst is the commissionay (really bad sp) It is next to star wars the ride. We only ate there because we had 4 starving children with us. Also, keep in mind there is a fruit cart and McD's fry stand if your kids are picky.

AK - Yak and Yeti or flametree. My DH and DD devoured the ribs there! For

MK Cosmic Rays is good. We love the variety they have to offer.

Epcot We normally just wander through and graze! There are 5 of us and we get something from different locations and share. Lots of options!

MGM Pizza Planet is alright and the Backlot Express is fairly decent if you hit it at a non busy time.

AK Flame Tree BBQ

Many people "dis" (hehe) all the cs at MGM but I really enjoyed what I ate the Backlot Express. I had the veggie sandwich and it was very yummy, and the blackbean salad was a nice side (and a nice change from fries or carrots). Plus I enjoyed the strawberry parfait for my dessert on the DDP. At MK, I like Pecos Bill. Haven't tried any of the current AK CS (Unsure what I'm going to try, possibly Flametree or Pizzafari. I didn't eat any CS at Epcot but I'm going to try the Tangerine Cafe and Sunshine Seasons.

When at Epcot I have to eat
Fish and Chips in England.

AK we always eat at Pizzafarri (we walk all the way to the
back room and go out the door to the Patio seating-- very quite
and not crowded).

MK: Cosmic Rays
I like the Veggie Burgers but they have something for everyone.

MGM: My DS always wants Pizza Planet.

MK: Cosmic Rays and Sleepy Hollow (they have great chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches!!)

EPCOT: love the CS at Morocco. the one at America is great too, especially their red, white, and blue jello!!! good CS options inside the Land as well

AK: pizzafari, flame tree

MGM: pizza planet, ABC Commissary

MK: Cosmic Rays, Columbia Harbor House

EPCOT: so much to choose from! in WS try Mexico or Morocco (I save my snack credits for Norway bakery... so good!) and Sunshine Seasons in FW has great variety and is really good.

AK: Flame Tree! I'll be on the Deluxe DDP but will probably stop by and pay OOP for a pork sandwich to share!

MGM: if I had to choose I guess I'd go with Pizza Planet...

MK Columbia Harbour House - Great sandwiches and DH and DS love the Clam Chowder. 2nd would be Peco Bill's - nice fixin's bar for the burgers.

EC We love to try the WS international CS choices. Our favorites are the Cantina in Mexico, The Sommerfest in Germany, the Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco, and the Fish and Chips in the UK

AK The best CS in all the World was the Tusker House, which they have changed into a buffet restaurant. The new menu does not appeal to me. We tried the Flame Tree in October and the consensus was it was just okay, not great. My turkey sandwich was awful. We would probably go back again. Haven't been since the Yak & Yeti opened.

MGM Nothing great, but the Backlot Express is the best of the choices, IMHO.

HTH

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

MGM. ABC Commissary.

AK: Flame Tree BBQ and Pizzafari.

We were just there in December, and some of our favorites changed from our last trip 2 yrs ago!

MK: Cosmic Ray's was good. Adults enjoyed the BBQ pork sandwich, but there are plenty of choices even for the kids. Pecos Bills (our old favorite) was one of our worst meals of our 10 day trip.

Epcot: We like Norway's bakery for snack credits but the sandwich bread was a little tough. Mexico is fine. Didn't care for Morocco. Our all-time Epcot favorite is a TS meal - Garden Grill.

MGM: There is a food-court-ish area right next to Rock n Roller Coaster. The hot deli sandwich available at one of the windows was actually pretty good, so we had that twice.

AK: We didn't find any CS options that we really enjoyed. For TS, though, we highly recommend the Tusker House breakfast (lunch was disappointing, though). You could take a bus over to AKL and have lunch at Mara (CS) - the African stew used to be one of my faves, but I didn't get it at all this past trip.
