This is my first post and I will be in WDW October 8-14 for my honeymoon and we couldn't get a good reservation at a TS for before the fireworks. Where is the best CS location for this time? :confused3

I was there Aug 1st -7th in 1999 for my honeymoon and it was wonderful! The first night we hurried to MK and grabbed hotdogs from Casey's and ate them while sitting on the street in front of the restaurant. We took pictures of each other eating the hot dogs and whenever we look at those we remember that we both said "these better be good with how expensive it is!" and they were. Right after the fireworks began, my newly DH said to me, "Let's not worry about money while we're here. Let's just have a great time and worry about it when the bill comes." It sounds silly but that was the sweetest thing he could have said to me and we had such a magical honeymoon.

Some recommendations... we ate dinner at the Brown Derby one night at MGM and the piano man asked us what we were celebrating, we told him and he then asked what our song was and he announced us and played "It Had to be You" for everyone. One morning we got up early and had breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe'. It is really quite and nice. We sat by a window and watched the groundskeepers making everything beautiful. We felt like it was just for us.

Fast forward 7 years later and we are taking our 2 kids to WDW for the first time. It's gonna be a different kind of fun!

Good luck and Congrats!

I am happy to hear you had such a magical time! We got the dining package and have booked our TS resuraunts for every night but one of nights and it is the night of the MNSSHP. We are more excited about WDW than we are the wedding.

As BuzzandAriel's mom said Casey's Corner has great hot dogs and then you can sit along the curb on Main Street to watch the parade. Also, you could always go over to Cosmic Rays and then come back across the bridge to watch the fireworks. I've done this many times and it's so nice to munch while watching the parades. There are loads of CS around the park where you can just grab something to take back to parade route to watch. One thing you might want to do is keep checking for openings TS ressies...something more than likely will come open before your honeymoon. I hope your honeymoon will be as magical and special as ours was! Disney is the best place to honeymoon! Be sure to wear pins that say Bride and Groom and to let everyone know you are on your honeymoon. The CM's go out of their way to make it extra special for you including dining by bringing out Celebration cakes. :)
