Best CS in MGM

So i have been researching our CS lunch on the DDP that we will eat at MGM. Nothing sounds too fabulous...any favorites?

We always go to Backlot Express because we like the burgers and the Strawberry Parfaits!

I like this, too.

Love the decor and it's cool in there with a lot of seating. We like to position ourselves along the back wall eat & people watch.

We like Toy Story Pizza Planet! The fact that they have no kids' menu is a huge plus for our family!

at MGM we love the milkshakes and fries at Sci Fi, (its LUNCH to us, heck were on vacation!)

The counter service at Hollywood Studios has to be the worst at Disney World. It's OK but at the bottom of all four parks. I'd stick to the burgers and such at Backlot Express. And they have a nice fixings bar. Personally, we stick to a soft pretzel and then head for Epcot.

We had undercooked food at Backlot..it was early and they just opened.Try and go maybe a little later than we did..

I agree with disnut8. We just haven't had very good CS meals there. We usually eat at our resort (we take afternoon breaks) on our DHS days.

FLat Bread grille, Pulled pork sandwich best on the property, Its the only cs we go to at MGM ,(DHS)

flatbread or blacklot, some healthier choices which is always good and tons better than abc comm.

I have only ate at Backlot Express and Pizza Planet. I have liked both. They are both general theme park fare though.

The pizzas at Pizza Planet are good and, to me, taste the same as any other CS pizza in the World anyways. Though I must say the crust itself is very blah, but added the sauce cheese and toppings, they are pretty good.

At Backlot Express they serve burgers, chicken fingers, and I think hot dogs (among other items). I believe Backlot has one of the largest toppings bars in the World, so that is always a plus. I didn't eat there my last trip, but the previous one I had a salad and it was very good.

My mom and sister ate at the Flatbread Grille or whatever it is called. They both liked it a lot. My mom loved her pulled pork sandwich (though complained because she wanted BBQ beef instead) and my sister enjoyed her chicken wrap.

In my opinion I think you should do 50s Prime Time Cafe or Sci Fi. But if you have to have a CS meal then I would go with ABC Commissary. The burgers are actually really good! The decor is also really cool inside and this is the only CS we will do in DHS. Have a great time on your trip!

My papa could not go to Disney without having a meal at the Backlot Express. It's just a tradition that has stuck. I love eating there. It's one of my favorite moments of our trip because it always brings back memories.
