OK...this is my FAV dessert on the planet. UNFORTUNATELY I was NOT totally pleased w/ the renditions of it at WDW...and goodness knows I tried it nearly everywhere we ate!
Le Cellier and WPC come closest for flavor. Vanilla bean flecks abound--just right. BUT texture was too pudding-like. (this was the biggest issue w/ WDW creme brulee, IMO--I prefer a more traditional custard-like texture, and I never quite found it at WDW)
Le Chef de France had ALMOST the right texture...unfortunately they put cinnamon in it. That didn't work for me.
Kona's banana creme brulee had the pudding texture and banana flavor, so all off for me.
I have tried WP in MGM in Vegas...very similar to WPC at WDW. Maybe third on my list of best brulees ever. An Italian Steakhouse in Scottsdale mall had the 2nd best ever (nice trio of vanilla, chocolate & mocha). Remarkably, best ever is a local restaurant here in "lowly" Lincoln, NE!!!
Any other votes out there? Was there a custard-like brulee to be found at WDW?
