Best credit card to use for warranty for a new camera?

I'm getting ready to buy my son a fairly pricey ($500) camera for Christmas. I hate to pay for the warranty when so many credit cards offer that sort of protection if you use the card for the purchase. I have a lot of credit cards but I'm bad at keeping track of the perks - anyone know which card is good for this sort of thing? If it matters, right now my plan is to buy an open-box (saves about $80) from Best Buy.

Not a free credit card offer, but we've had excellent luck with squaretrade.com They are affordable (discount codes all the time) and we've had both a camera and 3DS replaced by them. No problems or hassles.

AMEX is by far the best warranty and customer service. Something goes wrong, you call them up and they refund the money. I've had to use it two or three times in the last 9 years and they have never even asked me to send any pictures or anything (items were between $200 and $400).

I had an issue with some sunglasses ($100) I bought with a Chase card and it was a lot of paperwork and verification.

If you have the choice -- I'd go with AMEX. I have never had anything worse than an outstanding experience with their customer service. They even refunded me money when TSA wrongly confiscated my duty free liquor purchase at the airport.
