Best course of action for DCA in july?

We have one day at DCA in July. We want to ride RSR at least once, maybe twice. We don't have early entry. We also love TSMM. What would be the best course of action? We will get there at opening.

If you are there on a non EMH day, I would head straight to TSMM since there is no FP available. I would grab an RSR FP about an hour after the park opens. If the others you are riding with are over the age of 7, you can use the single rider line for RSR for any other rides you want to do.

We had planned on going on a Wednesday but I see that's an EMH. Would it be better to switch days and do DCA on a Thursday and DL on Wednesday?

Yes. If you can switch the days...do it. It makes a big difference at rope drop if you are in the park that does not have EMH/MM.

If you are going on a non EMH day I would go straight to racers then head to toy story. Ride toy story as many times as you can before the line builds up. Then enjoy the rest of the peir rides. For a second ride on racers try to swing by the fast passes before 12 or get in line right before closing. Other than that you should be ok to travel around at your leisure.

I disagree. TSMM will already have a line built up if you go to RSR first. The notion of riding multiple times before a line builds up only works if you go straight there. We did this on a EMH day and after the third ride the line was starting to build.
