One place that I found to be tops for value is Starlight Ray's in Tomorrowland in the MK. The roasted chicken is very good as is the portion. It is a nice break from the general fast food fare that is served. I would definately eat there again.

After you read the menus, it sort of depends on your preferences, and where you are when you get hungry. It may not be owrth it to run to the other end of the park to get an order of chicken fingers. Having said that, I have not tried the new noodle Terrace at MK, but it looks like a great menu. I wasn't quite sure where it was - it is between Main St. and Future World - coming in to the MK, take the path to your far right at the end of Main St.
Otherwise, Cosmic Cafe has burgers with a huge toppings bar, and a variety of other typical offerings - but Ray sings in the seating area.
There are a lot of places to get things like ice cream, ice cream treats, etc. They are definitely worth trying! AS great as the desserts are at some of the sitdowns, no trip is complete without a few Mickey ice cream bars!
Some people swear by smoked turkey legs.
In AK, we like Tusker House for their veggie wraps, or the Chakrandi chicken cart - everything there is good!
In MGM, a good place to try is the Starring Rolls for pastries and coffees. (They also have sandwiches) We weren't as impressed with the food court area there, but there are also a number of places we haven't tried.
Some of the best pizza at WDW, IMHO is on the Boardwalk - you can walk right up and get a hot slice.
Then there is Epcot -It is great fun to sample food items from around the World Showcase. If you like beer, you can try a number of different ones. The only place I think I'd avoid is the American Pavillion. It has the kind of food you can get anywhere in WDW, and the set up there is not particularly quick. The quick service place in Germany is a little hard to find, but if you like German food it is well worth it. Ironically, the Italian pavillion doesn't have a QS. The French pastry is also good.

One comment about Cosmic Rays - they have it set up where it is VERY inconvenient if you are ordering for a family.

They have three bays: Bay 1 is Chicken. Bay 2 is burgers and Bay 3 is Sandwiches. If you have someone who wants chicken, someone who wants a burger and someone who wants a sandwich - you are stuck waiting in THREE lines.
