Best Counter Service

We really loved Columbia Harbor House, Flame Tree Barbeque, Yak and Yeti CS and Tangierine Cafe in Morocco.

I know you asked for Counter Service at the parks, but The Mara at AKL is my new favorite Counter Service. We also love Flame Tree and Cosmic Rays.

The standouts for us were Earl of Sandwich and the meals at Epcot - Germany, France and Norways quick/counter service.

For something a little different I love the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco in Epcot. Their couscous is amazing.

I've always had a soft spot for Columbia Harbor House too. Some of the views from the upstairs tables can be wonderful.

MK- Cosmic Ray's, we ca usually slit a bbq combo. Main St. Bakery, good sandwiches and YUMMY desserts!
Epcot- Sunshine Sesons, Many choices! French Bakery, DH wouldn't agree, though.
DHS- We don't like most of the food here.TS Pizza Planet, I like the pizza and salad for a quick in park lunch. Otherwise, we jump a Friendship and have lunch at Boardwalk Bakery!
AK- Pizzafari, air and yummy italian sandwiches! Flame Tree, though last time it was a bit dry.

DTD- Wolfgang Puck Express- yummy pastas, excellent use of CS credit!

I don't think I could have put it any better than that. It's unbelievable how horrible the CS are in this park.

Wouldn't you think they would try to improve the CS here?? Truthfully, most of the food in DHS is not so good. We did eat at the ABC Commissary for the first time this month (I do like the decor in there); the chicken sandwich wasn't too bad, but the hamburger was dry and tasteless (which I find to be true about Disney CS burgers in general).

To answer the OP's second question, we don't have a lot of resort comparisons to make since we own at AK and tend to stay there when we go, but I had the fried shrimp platter from the Mara earlier this month and it was delicious. Just a quick word of advice to those who don't like hot spicy foods: If you eat at Mara, be sure to ask the CMs there before you order. My daughter got the chicken flatbread and really couldn't eat much because of the spicy sauce on it.

Yes, DHS does by far have the worst food. THe last time were were there, many CS were closed early and we ended up going back to the resort to have a bite! The CS at the values are pretty good but not useful really if not staying there.
