Best counter service w/indoor seating?

I'm a bit odd about eating outside.... It's not my favorite thing to do. I figure my family is going to be eating about 6 meals in the parks next month and while I was looking at menus (and feeling pretty good about having plenty of yummy sounding options) it looks like so many CS restaurants only have outdoor seating. Yikes!

Can anyone suggest a yummy CS location for a non-picky-eater family with kiddos 14, 12 and 7 that offers indoor seating?

We will head to DTD for a park break and we do plan to eat at EoS!

TIA!

Pizza Port has indoor seating, as does Plaza Inn. Smoke Jumpers in DCA has indoor seating.

Flo's also has indoor seating. Nothing in DTD does, all the express walk-up windows are outside seating. Although I think EOS might have one or two seats inside all the way at the end past the soda machines...

Village Haus in Fantasyland has a mix of indoor and outdoor and a decent menu.

While the above mentioned places have indoor seating, there aren't a lot of tables inside. You may not easily find a table inside unless you don't mind staking it out and jumping to a table when people are getting ready to leave.

Rancho Del Zocalo also has a mix, forgot about that. They do have some seating that is under a solid roof in several different areas around the outdoor part.

Places with indoor seating
Disneyland
  • Market House (Starbucks)
  • Pizza Port
  • Plaza Inn
  • Village Haus
  • Rancho del Zocalo
  • Golden Horseshoe

DCA
  • Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Cafe
  • Smoke Jumpers
  • Flo's

DtD
  • Earl of Sandwich

Disney Hotels
  • Whitewater Snacks in the GCH

I would vote for Plaza Inn in DL. It has a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating and amazing fried chicken.

You can grab food from Stagedoor Cafe (or any food for that matter) and take it inside the Golden Horseshoe. There are tables upstairs as well. We do that l the time when it is busy.

I don't know if I would consider Rancho "indoors", yes, it has a roof, but all sides are open to the outdoors.

I'm curious if he would consider the back section of Pizza Port "inside"....

Doesn't Tangaroa Terrace have some indoor seating? For the OP, if being seated indoors is a big priority, it might be wise to have a few PS reservations ready for your visit. You can note on your reservation and at the time you check in that you require indoor seating. One reservation a day can be a nice break and one less thing to worry about.

There is also the Carthay Circle lounge and Napa Rose lounge, both drop in fist come first serve...not quite counter service but not full sit down formal table service either.

For just about any of the above suggestions, I would add to try to eat at off-peak times. Most places that have indoor seating have a mix of indoor/outdoor, and the indoor seating is likely to fill up at busy meal times. This holds true for TS reservations too, because on busy days they might not honor seating requests (that has been the case for me multiple times).
