Best Counter Service Restraunt at WDW?

I thought this would be an interesting topic, and I'm curious to see the opinion of my fellow DISer's!

Agreed - this is one of our favorite places to eat in WDW. You get a ton of good food, and the atmosphere is quiet and beautiful.

Best selection of different foods.

Don't get counter service pizza at WDW. If your kids are pizza fiends, go to Pizza Hut. It's better than WDW.

Unless you're including the foreign food places in the WS, counter service is pretty much the same wherever you go. I'd just eat at whatever was closest when I got hungry.

I voted for CHH because I like the decor best out of the choices you gave us.

Out of the specific options -- Columbia Harbour House, but I have a favourite for each park. However, out of my favourites, I'd say my #1 is Sunshine Seasons!

I can't wait for my Oct trip to try some different CS places. This past June when we went DFIL feels that lunch MUST occur at noon no matter what you are doing, so we ended up just eating wherever because it was noon.

Of the choices listed, Columbia Harbor House is our favorite.

If we include all of WDW, I like the following...

1) Flametree BBQ (AK)
2) Yorkshire County Fish-n-Chips (Epcot - UK)
3) Sommerfest (Epcot - Germany)

Love love love Columbia Harbor House! Love sitting in the upstairs seating area overlooking the walkway to Fantasy Land. And who knew a tuna fish sandwich could taste so delightful? That bane of the sack lunch is stellar when folded in WDW waxed paper. Nice and cool and smelling like my mom's house with all its hardwood paneling. Good stuff.

LOVE CHH for the reasons described below but if I had to pick just 1 CS that our whole family loves, it's Sunshine Seasons!

Other: Flametree BBQ and I like the ambience at Wolfgang Puck Express. Haven't been to Tangierine Cafe in a couple of years. It is good with some great options, but I always tend to forget about it while I'm there. I'll have to make a point of going on our next visit.

Have to go with Flame Tree and Sunshine Seasons. Flame Tree for the food, and Sunshine Seasons for the selection (and the food ain't half bad, either!).

Have to add that I was a little surprised to see the Commissary on any "best" list.

As others have said, Sunshine Seasons is tops for variety & for fresh, "healthy" choices.
