Best Counter Service in World Showcase

Headed down this afternoon from NE Florida for a quick weekend trip. You never know how long it will take, depends on the afternoon storms and traffic in Orlando, which can be brutal. So, we can't predict when we will arrive which means I can't make an ADR, darn it. But if we do make it in time to head to Epcot for the evening, we'll need dinner. We usually have an ADR so we haven't eaten at a counter service restaurant in a while. Which ones are the best and have adequate seating? Was thinking about Liberty Inn, then we would be close to walk over and catch the Guardians of the Galaxy show. If they give a passholder discount, that would be nice too!! TIA!

Tangierine Cafe is my favorite for the shawarma platters. I've never had trouble finding a seat there, either.

I don't think there is one best place because most are pretty good and the best thing to do is go for what feels best at the time. I'd avoid Yorkshire County like the plague, however.

Keep checking the dining app when you are at the park for any ADRs. You never know what's open. I have made last minute ADRs or you could always walk up & ask.

I'm also a huge fan of Tangierine Café!! I've had Germany quick service back where the Biergarten entrance is & that's ok as well. Probably depends what you feel in the mood for.

Tangierine Cafe, the best CS at Epcot and perhaps all of WDW!

Don’t be put off by the “weird” menu, the shawarma is basically meat and bread with a delicious creamy sauce and some wonderful accompaniments that are head and shoulders above the usual fries or chips.

I do not recommend Liberty, it has not been good at all in my experience.

These two would be my vote as well. Tangierine has really large portions also.

I like all of them at WS except for the one in America. Our favorite is probably Tangierine Cafe but really we like them all. We also enjoy going to Spice Road Tables for small plates. You rarely need an ADR if you don't mind sitting outside, it's covered and they have fans going so it's not bad. Bonus is there is someone to wait on you.

We also enjoy the cantina in Mexico, but you have to watch out for birds trying to poach your food there. I've heard during lunch hours, they'll let you take your food and eat inside La Hacienda, since it's not open for lunch, but haven't tried it myself.

Yup, we do this every time we eat there. There's usually a sign in front of the door to tell guests they can eat inside, but it's always been pretty empty.

I love the outdoor seating area at Katsura Grill in Japan. It’s so beautiful and calm there. Very relaxing.

You can’t beat a cup of cheddar cheese soup from the Refreshment Port. Reading other’s comments, I think I may be the only person who likes the traditional poutine they serve, but I thought it was delicious.

And chocolate brioche bun from the French bakery!
