Best counter service in MK for dinner?

My two favorites are Columbia Harbour House and Pecos Bill, but it really depends what you're up for! CHH has wonderful seafood options (fish baskets, shrimp baskets, chicken) and Pecos Bill is more burgers/fries.

Cosmic Rays and Pinocchio Village Haus are also pretty good. I believe Cosmic Rays is also burgers/sandwiches, but I can't remember much about Pinocchio's.

These are our favorites too, also Pinocchio Village Haus has a pretty good chicken parm. w/ spaghetti- it is huge we could have split it.

For us it's hands down Pinocchio's Village Haus.

CHH is good, and has some more filling entrées in addition to the soups and sandwiches. Cosmic Ray's has some chicken and rib platters that make a decent dinner, too.

Throwing my vote in for CHH and Cosmic Ray's. We ate at both while there last year and enjoyed them pretty much equally.

My favorite restaurant in all of WDW is Columbia Harbour House!!! And I can't wait to try their new menu items although I'm always good with a fish, chicken & fries basket We like to eat upstairs and grab some malt vinegar for the fries - YUM! Here are a couple of pictures from our visit last May:

I really like the chicken meals at Cosmic Rays.

Columbia Harbor House is the best in the park.

DH and I really like CHH. The shrimp basket is yummy, and you can get it with broccoli and cole slaw instead of fries. That's important to us because park food can be scant on the veggies sometimes.

We love Columbia Harbour House.
Cosmic Rays is also good. There chicken and ribs platter is big, and they also have a nice "fixins bar" for their burgers.

We like Pecos Bills quite a bit but our favorite MK dinner was technically not in MK. Our second afternoon in MK we were planning on staying for late EMH so at around 5:30 or 6 when the restaurants were starting to get crowded, we took the Monorail to the Polynesian and ate at the CS there. The barbecue sandwich was awesome. Then we took a boat back over to MK and had a great evening. It didn't take very much time out of the park and we didn't have to wait in any lines for transportation or food. It was great. I highly recommend it.

We go every year and never ate at the Columbia or Charter House. So glad the DIS boards exist. Learn something all the time... Because quite frankly when you stay for a week, hot dogs, hamburgers, and lack of vegetables can grow old...

Cosmic Ray's Chicken and Rib combo is good. Last year we finally returned to CHH (not sure why we haven't been back in years-maybe because we don't spend as much time at MK as other parks?)

Anyway my DD12 and I each had the Shrimp and Fries which were good (we should have shared-too much food) and my DM had the Salmon with broccoli and couscous. I had a taste and it was very good.

We also enjoyed the taco salad at Pecos Bills-you add the toppings-it only comes with the meat in the flour tortilla bowl and a little package of sour cream. We refilled our lettuce, cheese, mushrooms, etc. twice before finishing it off.

Columbia Harbour House for CS but if you want a table service that is not much more than CS and are looking for a light meal The Plaza is fairly good but would need an ADR.
