Best Counter Service DHS

I'm sure this has be asked a thousand times but what is the best counter service at DHS. We always seem to eat at ABC and the food is not that great. Is there any other suggestions? Thanks

Honestly, I'm not a fan of any of the DHS CS restaurants. Toy Story Pizza Planet is okay, but I did not enjoy ABC Commissary or Backlot Express. Our favourite thing to do is take the boat to the Beach Club and walk to the World Showcase for a lunch break.

I've been told that the Backlot Express has some really good hot dogs. I wouldn't know because she didn't share!

I have to agree, there is no good cs @ dhs. The best of the bad is pizza planet, which gets very, very crowded. imho it's because it's the only semi-descent place there.

I didn't realize Starring Rolls had sandwiches. Thank you for this information. I had given up hope of ever eating a CS meal at the Studios since all of them are pretty bad.

Starring Rolls is by far the best counter service at DHS. The sandwiches are HUGE. The desserts are fantabulous! I think they have the biggest and 'frostiest' cupcakes I've seen.

None. I'd go to one of the nearby resorts and eat if you have to eat CS. We have never found anything at DS CS resturaunts that was even acceptable. Funny how alot of the stuff is the same as the other parks but at DS it just is awful!

No problem. I had the turkey, and it was very good. The sandwiches aren't as good as the chicken salad sandwich at WPE in DTD, but I think it's still the best CS in DHS.

so which nearby resort would you recommend??? and fairly quick and easy to get to??

CS across from the entrance to Backlot Tour (probably Backlot Express!!!) but DD LOVES the pulled pork sandwich there and the chili dog isn't bad either although those falling apart buns they use now can be pretty messy!!

We have early (3:30) ADRs for Fantasmic & will probably be looking for food to take into the amphitheater while we wait. Backlot is kind of a haul from the theater so maybe burgers at Rosie's.

That hot dog wasn't on the kid's menu. However, my daughter, who was only four that year decided that the options on the child's menu were nothing but bad. Now we always stop by the Backlot Express which has decent food and very short lines. It is on the Dining Plan.
