What is the best concierge you have stayed at and why?

Sure wish I could help, but I am sure there is some one on the DIS that has some ideas

thanks :D I'm looking to see what everyone has enjoyed as far as concierge since its my parents 25th anniversary and i want to send them concierge without us this yr, with my cm discount i can pretty much afford anything for at least 3 nights. I've been to Disney so many times but never set foot in concierge (my parents are teachers!!)

Now, I've only stayed at two concierges on property, GF RPC and the Poly and the Poly wins hands down. The Poly has MUCH better food, nicer CM's, a nice lounge (though looking down on the GF lobby can't be beat), and a more relaxed atmosphore. I just feel more comfortable there, and the only other concierge on property I have a desire to try is the Beach Club. I stayed at the YC, but the resort wasn't really my cup of tea. Good luck on your decision!!

Just got upgraded to the BC concierge this past week. We booked a 2 bedroom villa and were upgraded to the PRESIDENTIAL SUITE! The concierge is wonderful!! You can't beat the 5 minute walk to Epcot - especially if they are teachers (I'm also a teacher!) it's truly magical and ALL of the CMs were terrific!

WOW! Talk about your upgrade!!

That had to be an incredible treat! Congrats!:D

WOW, what an upgrade! Did they call you, send you a notice in the mail or when you checked in were you upgraded???

We are going for Christmas and are staying at the YC concierge - Boy would I love an upgrade! But I guess realistically this is their busy season (Christmas) so the chances are slim.

How many times have you stayed there???

And last question is this did they tell you why you were upgraded?

No advance notice (Otherwise, we'd have skipped the Publix stop! - What a lot of wasted food! LOL) - they just told us when we checked in. They said they had oversold the 2 bedroom villas and that was our room, "if we wanted it!" DUH! I had seen the Travel Channel special - we JUMPED on it right away! When we checked out, we asked the "rack rate" and it was $1500/night in the off season. Amazing! It really wasn't worth that, but WOW, what a treat! We'd never stayed there before - our previous trips (before kids) were at CBR and POFQ. They don't even compare!
