Hi! You guys do *awesome* work! I would love to experiment myself - esp. as I plan to make a bunch of things for my wedding (probably in 2-3 years!) myself - t shirts, magnetic door signs, stickers, programs, etc. I would like to take images - like the castle or carriage and modify them to include our monogram and the date and things like that. What program would you recommend for a beginner?

I'm not sure I want to invest in Photoshop if it will be difficult, but since making my own stuff will save me money in the long run, I would be willing to do it if it meant the images would look more professional since it is mostly for my wedding.

I also heard of another program - maybe something with the word "Create" in it? I can't remember. Can anyone advise?

Thank you!

I use Photoshop Elements. It doesn't have the full capabilities of Photoshop, but it still does a lot, and it's much less expensive. I did not find it difficult to use, and there are a lot of web tutorials available. There are also plenty of books on how to use it.

A lot of others here use PhotoImpact. I have never tried the program, so I don't know how it compares.

I hope that is enough to give you a start.

Beth
