Best city friendly SUV

Subaru if not looking for a luxury level vehicle. Otherwise I'd suggest a BMW X3.
Id also recommend Subaru, they have some high end features and a very reasonable price.

I am very happy with the EyeSight option.

STARLINK is also very good, but not available in some states due to right to repair laws :( - this really annoys me. Its not the intent of those laws but its the simplest option for Subaru.

I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but my DH has a Chevy Equinox and I have a friend who just got a Chevy Trax.

My best friend is a painter at our local auto body shop. He says getting parts across all of the manufacturers are a serious issue. They have several months of work stacked up waiting for parts. They have stopped taking drop offs from towing companies, they are only accepting work from existing customers and work from contracted insurance companies.

I have an Equinox and I am in the market for another car. My Equinox is a 2012 with 228,000 miles on it! We do not do long trips with it anymore since DH is afraid it may breakdown. I would get another Equinox in a heartbeat, but when I sat in a 2023, the seat backs were not comfortable. I do like the price tag of the Trax and I actually call it a mini blazer because that is what it looks like to me. Do both your DH and friend like their cars and recommend them?

Yes they love them and would recommend but everyone is different.
