Involves dates around sept 11-18 2 adults 1 child (4) 1 infant
We are saving our DVC points for a special trip next December so those are off the table. none of the scenarios include travel insurance, but they all include taxes and fees.
- 7 nights, 8 days at pop preferred room with the military discount and 4 day military park hoppers for 1040 plus food - could do it on the cheap trip to walmart etc
- 7 day 8 night at cbr preferred room with military discount and 4 day military park hoppers around 1200$
- 7 night, 8 day free dining at all star music or movies (pop is full) non preferred with 8 day base tickets quick service dining (no interest in upgrading with two small children sit down dining is miserable) with the free photo book for 1550$
We will drive down (8 hours with stops) so we will get in around 2 or 4 on the first day and leave around 12 or 1 on the last day. I am not fond of all stars busses and don't really like the idea of my 10 month old son in my arms on a bus so we will probably drive everywhere.
My husband knows someone at working going around same time so we might be able to split a photo pass preorder, but if we went with free dining would the book be enough?
Which choice would you make? We also have 400$ in Disney visa rewards to put towards the vacation and a 500$ gift dh's parents gave us for our 10th anniversary to reduce our out of pocket costs.
