Best Cheeseburger

I read a trip report a while back and a little boy was rating cheeseburgers at every US/IOA/Citywalk/Resort restaurant they went to. His favorite was at Margaritaville. A number of posters agreed but I read Kelly's book which says they are nothing to write home about. This weekend me and DS16 are going to the parks and HHN and we are always in search a good cheeseburger. To date DS16 likes RPR's Jake's the best. Where is the best cheeseburger?

I agree!!! Nothing beats Margaritaville's cheesburgers.....and of course a margarita (or 2)

The best burger that I have had at US or IOA was at was across from Jurassic park. I can't recall the name of the place, (burger digs?) seems like it was char-broiled and they have a really good toppings bar. I didn't care for Margaritavilles burger at all. first, I had to send it back because it was too red in the middle and they are pretty pricey burgers at that. sure the atmosphere is fun, but thats about it. I've had cheeseburgers at the Burger Digs and at Mythos and my friend got one when we ate at Margaritaville. Neither of us were crazy about the one at Mythos, pretty dry. She said the one at Margaritaville was alright but she didn't rave about it. I don't remember the ones at Burger Digs being that great either so all I can say is good luck! LOL

I love cheeseburgers, they are quite possibly one of my most favorite things in the world so I'm kind of picky. If I had to pick one I'd go with the Burger Digs.

i'd say hard rock cafe and richters.......have eaten many of them at both places.
richters has the salad/fixing bar......you could practically make a salad with what they have there. at hrc, whatever you tell the waiter to put on it, they do.


in my opinion, you can't go wrong with either place.

yes, Richters is good too. probably my favorite in the studios.
as for me, I refuse to pay more than $10 for a burger anywhere

I have to agree with your DS. RPR Jakes has the best cheeseburgers in Universal Orlando, and believe me we've tried them all. My DD12 and DS16 are cheeseburger junkies. Me and my DH also, were very impressed with the burgers at Jakes.

My DH loves the burgers at Margaritaville. He hated the one he got at the Hard Rock Cafe, said it was very dry and no taste.

Buffet's followed by Digs. However neither of these compare to a "White Castle With Cheese"

Ah, but have you tried the #2 burger at Sonic? it will blow them all away.
with all the praise about the cheeseburger in paradise, I just may have to give them another try next month (and pick up another parrot shirt while I'm at it). Linda

My 14 yr old son lives off of cheeseburgers and he thinks the "cheeseburger in pardise" is the best in Orlando. We ate there several times during our trip this summer and each time our server asked how it should be cooked and I very firmly said "well done" and it was always weel done.

1. Margaritaville
2. Richters
3. Digs (I think he had one there before last year's HHN)
4. Hard Rock Cafe

And we'll do Jake's again in November.
And I have to get a Cowboy BBQ at Mythos!

My vote has to go with Margaritaville! The best cheeseburger ever...and not because I am a HUGE parrothead! Everytime we go to Disney, we have to go to Universal just for the cheeseburger at Buffett's place. My DD and I just love them
Oh, and the nachos are out of this world!! and the margarita! well, do I need to say more???
Can't wait to get there............
