Best Cheeseburger Results

I asked for opinions on the best cheeseburger on the above thread and we rated the full service locations on this trip.

The full service restaurants we ranked were the Hard Rock Cafe, Margaritaville and we threw in Mythos. We did each at their opening times so there would be a level playing field. We used a 10 point must system and judged on:
Atmosphere/setting
Service
Presentation
Creativity
Price
Cooked (well, medium, etc. or if they even asked.)
Freshness of ingredients
Preparation
Taste
Friendliness/dress/appearance

The results were:
Hard Rock Cafe 96 points
Margaritaville 95 points
Mythos 91 points

Thanks for everyones input. How could have I doubted Kelly Monaghan's book?

how does a cheeseburger become friendly?

I've never had a cheesebuger at Hard Rock, must try it, but I LOVE the ones at Margaritaville, even have the recipe to make them myself, very good

I just gotta tell ya'll when we where at uso/ioa last weekend we ALWAYS go to margartiville for a hamburger. Anyways, we got there late and had lunch at mythos that day and we ordered the plantans (These where soooo good), and we got the losbster soup so we decided to split a burger. We have never ordered one before at Mythos. OMG it was the BEST i have eaten anywhere sorry jimmy they got your beat. It came with a nice heaping helping of cheese and the smoked bacon really gave it the edge for the best burger in my book. You guys outta give it a try next time you have a chance. It was a big burger and I could'nt even eat all my half!

My son ate his whole cheeseburger after he devoured a starter pizza. He was paying for it afterwards.

I can tell you the worst cheeseburger I have ever had was at Mel's Diner. Dog food would have tasted better.

FINALLY!!!! Someone agrees with me lol....
The first and last time I ate there was way back in 1991 and I am STILL P.O. from the money I wasted at this dump

I think that I ate a hamburger left over from 1991!

I wonder why Universal has great restaurants like Lombard's Landing and Mythos, but we end up with slop from Mel's Diner.

I think they should just bring in an outside vendor for Mels. It's constantly voted worst.
Steak N' Shake would be da bomb in dat building.
They can still call it Mel's, but when you get inside, have it be a Steak N' Shake or a Jimmy Rockets like they have at CP. Now that place rocks. They play juke box music, and every hour the entire crew busts out into a dance number clapping their hands.

My wife had the mythos burger and raved it was wonderful. I can't wait to try it now. This is off, but another thing at Mythos that is out of this world is the chicken or pork plantains. Very yummy and it comes as an appetizer, but it's large enough for a meal.

Thank you Motherfletcher. My wife and I had dinner at The Hard Rock Cafe. Based upon your taste test results, I ordered a cheeseburger and was not disappointed! It was a very good cheeseburger! My wife ordered the steak fajita and loved it too. With great food, decent prices and great service, The Hard Rock Cafe gets 2 thumbs up from both of us!
