Just bought a Rainbow Loom this past weekend. My kids (DD11 and DS6) and I are having fun making all kinds of bracelets! We have quickly run out of bands and are looking for the cheapest place online to buy them. Many stores carry them, but charge crazy shipping fees. Learning Express sells the 600 count bags for $2.99, then adds $12.99 shipping. Ebay charges $5.49 for the same 600 count bag with free shipping. Has anyone found a better deal online for these bands? Thanks!!

We have found them at many local retailers. AC Moore has packs for 1.99. Michaels has packs for $3.99. Five Below has them 3 packs for $5. I heard Toys R Us has them as well. We have been buying many as this is the new obsession in our house!

Do you have AC Moore near you? They had a pack of 1,000 for $3.99. The 500 count packs of glow in the dark and scented ones were $2.99.

Hmmm.....no Five Below or ACMoore anywhere close to where I live. My Michaels does not carry the refills yet....but I haven't tried TRU. Looks like my mom has a Five Below near her....might see if she can pick some up and mail them to us as the bands are pretty light to ship. Thanks for the info!

Just went on rainbowloom.com and one bag of 600 was $3.69. When I calculated shipping for my area, it was only $1.99. Shipping probably goes up with the number of bags you purchase, but worth looking into.

Good luck. My girls are obssessed with these. My older daughter has been working on one giant loom that is about 13 feet long so far.

Thanks. I checked it out and for the amount I would like the shipping is $5.99. Not too bad if I can't find them anywhere else.

13 feet long!! Is she making a purse or something to hang in her room? We have only tried the single row bracelet, the starburst type bracelet and the one that only uses 2 pegs and looks like a V design when finished. Thanks goodness for YouTube and the videos...otherwise I would have no clue! I have been watching videos by an 8 year old in order to teach my kids how to make them!

I don't know what she plans on doing with this thing when she is finished lol
Thank goodness they had friends who taught them because I'm not sure I would be able to figure it out even with video instructions.

Went to TRU and found the loom, but they do not sell the refills. Guess I am out of luck finding them locally. Maybe they are just catching on "down south" and we will see them in stores soon. Called Hobby Lobby and they do not carry them either. Thanks for the suggestions!

This has been the summer of the Rainbow Loom for DD. She adores that thing!

We got the refills at Five Below. DD likes the colors in the Five Below knock-offs better than the official Rainbow Loom bands.

I'll second YouTube for videos on how to make different designs. Now my DD is nagging me to videotape her so she can post a tutorial. Um, nooooo.

I decided to buy online directly from the Rainbow Loom website and received great customer service and super fast shipping! Ordered Wednesday at 4pm......got a shipping notice at 5pm and then delivery today, Friday at 12:30pm! I know it helps that I am in the Eastern time zone and they ship from the Pacific time zone. Will definitely order from them again when we need more bands....although we now have over 4,800 rubber bands!
