Best character meals??

Akershus had the best food of all the character meals we did. (And it was MUCH better. The other character meals we did were Cinderella's Royal Table, Crystal Palace, and Chef Mickey's. All fine to mediocre.) It's also one of the only places to meet Belle in her yellow dress.

Due to a shorter trip this year, I have booked as many character meals as possible for my DD...1900 Park Fare Dinner, which we did a previous trip and LOVED the interaction, the Prince danced with my DD...Akershus Lunch will be a first for us, so excited for all the Princesses...Tusker House which we hear has great interaction and good food...O'Hanas Breakfast, because I have always wanted to. I am checking daily for BOG and will continue right up until last minute...my goal is to score that restaurant...it is all my DD talks about. *fingers crossed* We have done Chef Mickey's the past two times and always had a great time, food okay...but no time for it this year. I will miss waving those napkins! ;) Crystal Palace was nice for when she was younger, food was fine. For me, I just want to immerse her in as many character interactions as we "comfortably" can...no matter where...we are always HAPPY to be there. :)

We want to do this one for the first time in November. Can you confirm the characters when you were there?
I've heard bad reviews of late with character interaction. Kids would be thrilled with Pooh, Tigger, Mary Poppins and Alice :)

We were there for breakfast in 2011 and LOVED it. Food was great. The characters at the time were Mary Poppins, Alice, Pooh, Tiger, and The Mad Hatter. Alice and MH were hilarious playing tricks on my son. We had a very positive interaction with all of the characters. As far as I know, it's still the same.

We tried Tusker House for the first time on our last trip and everyone really enjoyed it.

Our favorite character dinner is Garden Grill - not too crowded so when you are meeting the characters you have a little space, Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale plus we like the revolving aspect. We also LOVE the food, although I know many on this board disagree (our favorites are the bread, steak, turkey, and mashed potatoes - I also enjoy the Mac and cheese and cupcake In a cone from the kids menu).

For breakfast we like Tusker House at AK - the food is really good, but be aware I find it to be pretty loud.

I love Garden Grill too and Tusker House..Garden Grill gets beat up a lot though with bad reviews
