Best character meals?

For Breakfast Chef Mickey's or 'Ohana

For Lunch Play and dine or Garden Grill

For Dinner Liberty Tree Tavern

I know this is more than 2 but i think it depends on what meal. Sorry

we've picked Liberty Tree Tavern for our sons Birthday because he wanted to spend *his day* at Magic Kingdom. Is it a wise choice?

Liberty Tgree Tavern is a great CD, good choice.

We are taking DS 8months in December. Planning on a CD, guess it doesn't matter seeing the baby will be so young.

Crystal Palace for lunch or dinner and with kids that age Chef Mickey. But if you want to cater to your daughter at all...I would say Akershus for the Princesses. Your son would probably be horrified but my husband loved that meal in '07. Jasmine...that hussy! :rotfl2:

I would like to suggest u is Kona Cafe where u can have a delicious food i generally go there for diner and some times lunch too.:cool1:

Chef Mickey's! If your daughter likes princesses, I second the recommendation for Akershus.

If for some reason, your kids like a quieter atmosphere, then don't do CM and do Garden Grill instead, which actually has far better food. It's just we love the party atmosphere at CM so much -- makes it way fun! But Garden Grill's food is awesome.

:wizard: Crystal Palace for breakfast and Chef Mickey's for lunch or dinner

Chef Mickey's is our favorite!
Crystal Palace
I took my girls to the Castle for the first time this year and loved it!!!!

Is the food good at Chef Mickeys or is it just the atmosphere that's good?

A friend of mine went to the character breakfast at Polynesian=forget the name, and said the food was the best of any of them?

agree? disagree?

Do you mainly look for atmosphere or quality of food or combo of both?

thanks everyone!

I can honestly say we look for both. Here is an example...I don't think you can beat the character interaction we had at Garden Grill this year. It was incredible! BUT the food was horrible and the setting was average so we won't be returning.

In my limited opinion (last year was the first time I did character meals) and the best ones I liked were:

Breakfast: 'Ohana
Lunch: n/a
Dinner: Akershus

I've not been to Chef Mickey's so I can't tell ya.... ;)
